Nearly 1,700 students have been named to the Spring 2018 Dean's List at Kutztown University. To be eligible for the Dean's List, an undergraduate student must be registered for at least 12 credits and have a minimum grade point average of 3.60.

Nearly 200 Lebanon Valley College student-athletes were named to the Middle Atlantic Conference's (MAC) Winter and Spring Academic Honor Roll, emphasizing the Flying Dutchmen's commitment to classroom success. Twelve Dutchmen also were named to the Academic All-MAC teams.

Wilkes University Provost Dr. Anne Skleder announced the Dean's List for the spring 2018 semester.

The Class of 2018 graduated in Elizabethtown College's 115th commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 19. Kwame Anthony Akroma-Ampim Kusi Appiah, weekly columnist for The New York Times Magazine, was the speaker.

The annual Elmira College Nurse Pinning Ceremony, held in Speidel Gymnasium as part of Commencement weekend activities, recognized 68 students who have completed the requirements for a bachelor of science degree in nursing.

More than 2,000 Coastal Carolina University students were named to the Dean's List for the Spring 2018 semester. Students who make the Dean's List have achieved a 3.5 GPA or higher during the semester. CCU has a student population of 10,600.

Elmira College celebrated the graduation of 297 students during its 160th Commencement on Saturday, June 2 at the Murray Athletic Center, Pine Valley. The exercises included 270 undergraduate and 27 graduate degrees.

Lebanon Valley College congratulates nearly 700 students named to the Dean's List for the spring 2018 semester. Dean's list students must maintain a GPA of at least 3.4 out of 4.0.

A total of 1,621 students have been named to the Dean's List at East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania (ESU) for the Spring 2018 semester of the 2017-2018 academic year, according to Joanne Bruno, J.D., provost and vice president for academic affairs. Students eligible for the Dean's List are those who have attained a 3.50 quality point average or better and are enrolled full-time. The letter grade "B" earns 3 quality points per credit, and the grade "A" earns 4 quality points per credit.

Elizabethtown (Pa.) College announced the names of students whose outstanding academic performances have earned them the recognition of being included on the spring 2018 dean's list. Students on the dean's list are full-time undergraduate students who earn a semester grade point average of 3.60 or better in 14 or more credit hours, of which at least 12 credits are letter-graded course work.

Cedarville University Students Achieved Dean's Honor List

On May 24, 2018, Northampton Community College (NCC) celebrated not only the achievement of its students, but also the 50th anniversary of spring commencement ceremonies at the college. The Class of 2018 represents fifty years of NCC students overcoming obstacles and working hard to achieve their dream of a college education.

To be named to the dean's list, students must have a grade-point average of 3.0 or better and rank in the top 20 percent of their class in their respective college or school.

Lebanon Valley College recognized more than 200 student-athletes who competed for the Flying Dutchmen during the spring sports season.

Hard-working Alvernia University students were named members of the Beta Kappa Chi honor society this spring.

The University of Scranton conferred more than 890 bachelor's and associate's degrees at its undergraduate commencement on May 27 at the Mohegan Sun Arena at Casey Plaza in Wilkes-Barre. Very Reverend Timothy P. Kesicki, S.J., president of the Jesuit Conference of Canada and the United States, read the remarks of the principal speaker Most Reverend George V. Murry, S.J., Bishop of the Diocese of Youngstown, who was unable to attend the ceremony in person because he is undergoing treatment for a form of acute leukemia. Both Father Kesicki and Bishop Murry, in absentia, received honorary degrees from the University. Honorary degrees were also presented to Sister Ann Walsh, I.H.M., former CEO and current assistant director of Friends of the Poor; William Whitaker, founding president of the Washington Jesuit Academy, Washington. D.C.; and Cecelia Lynett Haggerty, Times-Shamrock Communications and former University trustee.

Eastern Mennonite University is pleased to recognize students who were named to the Spring 2018 Dean's List. The Dean's List, compiled at the end of each term, includes degree-seeking students who achieve a semester GPA of at least 3.75 with no withdrawn, incomplete, or failing grades for 12 semester hours of standard grades.

Nearly 500 students celebrated their academic success and achievements during Lebanon Valley College's 149th Commencement Saturday, May 12, in Louis A. Sorrentino Gymnasium.

The following students are among over 800 Bob Jones University students named to the Dean's List for academic achievement during the Spring 2018 semester. To qualify for the Dean's List, students must earn a 3.00-3.74 grade point average during the semester.

East Stroudsburg University student Raquel Sosa has been elected president of the Student Advisory Committee (SAC) of Active Minds, Inc. Sosa, a junior majoring in psychology from Wilkes-Barre, Pa., is also president of ESU's chapter of Active Minds. Active Minds, Inc. is a national nonprofit organization that empowers students to speak openly about mental health and combats stigma surrounding mental illness through different events and program initiatives. The SAC is comprised of 20 student leaders from the entire Active Minds chapter network of over 400 chapters. The SAC's primary role is to contribute the student voice to Active Minds' efforts and to advise national staff in the areas of student engagement, fundraising, program planning, and promotion. As the SAC president, Sosa will sit on the board of directors for the national organization and attend and participate in board meetings in Washington, D.C.

Eastern Mennonite University in Harrisonburg, Virginia, conferred 540 degrees at its 100th Commencement Ceremony on May 6, 2018. Commencement speaker, alumna and Nobel Laureate Leymah Gbowee MA '07, received an honorary doctorate.

Cedarville University Hosts 122nd Annual Commencement

Lebanon Valley College is excited to welcome members of our Class of 2022 who will arrive at The Valley for the Fall 2018 semester.

Approximately 1,183 students were eligible to walk in Coastal Carolina University's graduation exercises, held on campus at the HTC Student Recreation Center and Convocation Center in three separate ceremonies May 4-5.

Eighty-one Coastal Carolina University students are graduating from the institution's Honors Program. Each graduate has completed a rigorous curriculum composed of at least 24 hours of honors work, including a final honors thesis/project achieving a cumulating grade point average of at least 3.50. The cumulative GPA of the spring graduating class is 3.79. Students presented their work in public forums more than 75 times at conferences or research competitions and have earned numerous awards.

Each academic department at Coastal Carolina University selects one student to win the departmental award each year, and that student is recognized at Honors Convocation, this year held on May 3. This year, more than 50 graduate and undergraduate students were recognized with this honor. Departmental awards recognize outstanding academic accomplishments by students as well as contributions to the academic quality of the department. Candidates are nominated and selected by the college faculty.
